Tolon NoteKeeper - Flexible note manager
Notes can be helpful in any situation. It does not matter if you are writing a book or a screenplay or if you are working on a complex project. The best way to remember an important piece of information is to write it down somewhere and to make it easy to find. This is Tolon NoteKeeper's main focus. This lightweight application allows you to store your notes, organize them however you want and protect them, if you need to.
A fast and simple installation process is what you can expect when you launch Tolon NoteKeeper's setup file. The application works on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7, but it may work on other editions as well. There are no special requirements to meet, so you can start using the software right away.
The larger area of the interface consists of a text editor, with a few options, for changing the font, its size and style and to make a few paragraph adjustments. Notes and folders can be created in a tree structure, located on the left side of the window. You may click and drag any note or folder, to create your own system of nodes and sub-nodes.
You can also right click a note and select various options, to assign it to a new or an existing task, to add it to a bookmarks list or to import various items, like images or other foreign data. If you bring up a note's properties window, you will be able to add keywords to that specific note and to encrypt it, using various algorithms.
The application provides two search functions, for locating notes or words within your notes. You can find other familiar tools, like a spell checker or a word replacement tool. The best part is that all your notes and folders are saved in a single file, on your hard drive.

You can organize your notes in folders and sub-folders, in a tree structure. The software allows you to add keywords to individual notes, encrypt them or associate them with scheduled tasks. All the notes are saved as a single file, in the program's native format.
Cons:
There are no clear drawbacks to mention.
